Hi I'm Tori Johnson

I have a birthmark on my nose, I can burp the ABC's, and I love laughing till my sides hurt. I'm a missionary and a Mormon!

About Me

My name is Tori. I'm from the hot and sunny Mesa, Arizona. I love being outdoors and seeing the beauty of the earth. I love traveling--new places, new people, and most importantly new food. I love gourmet, thoughtful, delicious, beautiful food! I have a weakness for fast cars, I love to follow rules, and I don't get straight A's. But, I know that the joy, change, and hope that fills my life comes completely from the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Most importantly, I love sharing this peace with others as I put life on hold to serve as a missionary in the California Rancho Cucamonga Mission! I'm loving me some So Cal sunshine. I love my life and my religion. I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family, and baptized when I was 8, which may seem like the norm when it comes to Mormons. But it's through my own personal trials, pains and sorrow, that I've come to know my Savior, Jesus Christ, and accept the gospel into my life. I'm a Mormon because I want to be, not because my parents are and expect me to be too. True happiness comes from following the prophet and striving to be like Jesus, not from getting into meaningless habit of living the standards. I know who I am, I know where I came from, and because of the Gospel of Jesus Christ--I definitely know where I'm going.

How I live my faith

I know that God has a very distinct and beautiful plan for me. As I have turned to Him through my own experiences I have learned that consistency in living the teachings of Jesus Christ is what brings true happiness. I feel peace and joy in my life that comes from having a relationship with my Savior, Jesus Christ, and I hope and pray for others in this world to find the same. I know that every life problem has a gospel solution and I want all of God's children to recognize that in their lives as well. That is why I choose to live my faith by sharing it with others as a missionary for 18 months! There is no other place I would rather be, then biking around, trying to talk to as many people as I see!
