Hi I'm Chuck

I was raised in Massachusetts. I am a husband, father and grandfather. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband, a father and 'Papa' to my grandchildren. I enjoy being married to the same wonderful woman for over 33 years. I enjoy playing and watching basketball with my sons, wrestling with my grandchildren and cuddling with my wife.

Why I am a Mormon

I was looking for something that seemed to be missing in my life when I was about 18. I had been baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when I was 10 years old but became inactive. About that time I, a friend invited me to play basketball on the church team. I returned to the church and found what I had been missing. There was a genuine warmth and happiness in all the people I met at church and I felt happier. I knew I needed the church. Since then I have found inexplicable joy and happiness through serving others. I've come to know that families can be forever. I love my wife and could not imagine a life without her. I feel the same way about my children and grandchildren. These are the things that have brought me so much happiness. I love the Lord and know that He lives and that He knows and loves me. He is my Savior and Redeemer! I have come to know that the scriptures are true and that they testify of Christ. I love the Book of Mormon and know that it is the word of God. I feel peaceful whenever I read from it's pages.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be the best husband, father and man that I can possibly be. I do this by honoring my wife and loving and serving her every day. I strive to be honest in my dealings with my fellowman. I strive to serve others in need, to lift up the downtrodden and to love everyone. I do not always succeed in loving others but I continue to reassess my progress and try to improve in this area of my life.
