Hi I'm Rachel

I have Ulcerative Colitis, I enjoy mountain biking, and spending time with my friends and family, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a high school student, and am excited to be experiencing new things as I grow and change in my life. It took awhile but trying out many sports made me realize, I love mountain biking with my family; spending time with them doing something we all love. I have Ulcerative Colitis, which has given me opportunities to reach out and help others that I otherwise wouldn't have had.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! Knowing and understanding the basic principals have helped me make many different decisions that have positively affected my life. I choose to live the gospel because I know it is true. I have read and studied the Book of Mormon many times and have had wonderful experiences. Because I live the standards of the gospel I have been able to live a happy, fulfilling life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church every Sunday, but by also setting a good example to my friends and acquaintances at school. Choosing to live by the standards of the church is another way I live my faith. I try very hard to dress modestly, not swear, and avoid any situation in which I may be tempted to not choose the right. When friends bring up religion I don't change the subject, I happily tell them about what I believe, and why.
