Hi I'm Jeremy

If I see you with a frown, I'll do my best to turn it upside down. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I had open heart surgery at the age of 1. My biological father passed away when I was 3. My mom remarried and after 2 more children our blended family became a total of me and my 8 siblings. My mom was often in the hospital being treated. With my dad at work government funded homemakers helped raise us kids. It wasn't what I would call a normal home but nontheless it was home to me. Times were often tough for us. In elementry school I was classified as being learing diasbled, in other words a slow learner. Even with all these and other challenges, having a good additude and choosing to look at life in a positive light helps me face the day with a smile. I love to make people laugh or at least smile too. Other things about me are that I eat cereal every chance I get. I like movies that make me cry inside or out, you know, romantic love story types that pull on your tear ducts. I also love the small things in life and taking time to notice them. Like long walks on the beach looking and listening to all the creatures that were created for us on this planet we live on. I also have a love for adventure like mountain biking, snowboarding, skydiving, and roller coasters. I love life and all it has to offer.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a church member family but after years of not attending, in 2009, I decided I really needed to know and gain a testimony for myself. I was treating a friend poorly and felt I needed to figure out what my problem was. It wasn't easy and still isn't sometimes, but through daily prayer and scripure study the Holy Ghost testified to me of things as they Really are. I can't prove it to you, I can only try to convince you to have the faith to find out for your self. Knowing truth is always worth the sacrifice. Through my own personal experiences I can say without any doubt that the saviour Jesus, is the Christ. He lived and still lives as we speak. I have felt his love and know he is always there leading the way. The Bible and Book of Mormon work together and both testify of Jesus Christ. The phophet Thomas S. Monson is His mouth piece and guide for us in these latter days. But like I said truth isn't just taught it's revealed through the Holy Ghost so if or when you find out for your self it will change your life like it has mine!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sharing what I know with thoes around me. I sometimes use words but mostly I smile or say "hi" in passing. To me loving your neighbour means serving anyone you come in contact with by being kind, coutious, and repecting others ideas, thoughts, and feelings. No matter what life you lived or mistakes you made, feeling Gods love is something we all need to feel. After all we are all his children. I like to think that if I can treat you the way the saviour would somehow his love for us both will be felt.
