Hi I'm Michael

I'm married. We have 4 awesome children. I'm a scouter. I enjoy cycling & hiking. I'm a structural engineer and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've lived in Arizona most of my life. My parents are from Germany. They taught me German and I had the opportunity to live in the northern part of Germany for two years. I have been married for 28 years. We have four awesome children, ranging in ages from 27 to 14. I was in scouting as I was growing up. I've had the opportunity to be a Boy Scout Leader for almost 30 years. I have a twin brother. We are both structural engineers and work at the same company. I enjoy road cycling and hiking in the great outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is the way to become more like Jesus Christ and the way to be happy in this life. I know that Christ is my Savior. He suffered and died for me and for all of us. He showed us the way when He lived on the earth and the Bible testifies of Him. He shows us the way now through prophets and apostles. The Book of Mormon is a another Testiment of Christ and was given to us in our day to learn of Him and to love Him.

How I live my faith

I work with the teenage young men in the church. I am one their boy scout leaders. This is a great way to help them to achieve and develop their talents.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

*Learn about Mormonism by visiting a worship service, talking to the missionaries or by reading The Book of Mormon. *Have faith that God and Jesus Christ want you to know the truth and will help you recognize in your heart what is true. *Pray to God and ask him whether what you have found is true. *Listen to your heart for feelings of peace and comfort. God speaks to us in a quiet soft voice, not in a loud shouting voice. *Continue, learning, reading, praying, attending church, and following the teachings of Jesus Christ and you will recognize God telling you in the quiet moments that this work called "Mormonism" is the way to God and peaceful happiness. *These are the steps that I followed to know that God lives and that Jesus Christ is our Savior.
