Hi I'm Rebecca

I grew up in Rigby, Idaho and attended Ricks College. I work at an Optometrist office and love meeting new people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

II'm a mom of five, a grandma of 4. I work full-time at an optometrist office and just try to do my best at home, work, and for my family. Remembering that family is the most important thing we have.

Why I am a Mormon

I find peace in the knowledge that I'm a child of God. My Heavenly Father loves me. That knowledge provides security, trust and thankfulness to my Father in Heaven. There are days when I don't understand and question why He would die on the cross for me. When I ponder that, I am humbled beyond my worth. Jesus Christ is my brother and intermediary. Thank goodness! Mormons aren't perfect, I struggle with being the best person that I possibly can be on a daily basis. But I find peace and worth in the gospel, that I have found no where else.

How I live my faith

I am called a visiting teacher. That is where I and a female partner visit women assigned to us from our ward. Sometimes they are strangers but it's been my experience that we quickly become friends. We are partnered with women of all ages and backgrounds. That's the fun part. I have met women that are intelligent, capable, brave, and outstanding women. All women in our ward (a geographical area) belong to "Relief Society" and they have become my friends and sisters. They challenge me, inspire me and impress me. They love me; they helped me when my daughter got married, they prayed for me and my family when my daughter was hit by a drunk driver and had emergency surgery and have rescued me on many occasions. I am also a primary teacher. I teach boys and girls 10-11 years old on Sunday. I teach them the lessons we learn from our Heavenly Father. The Creation, Adam and Eve, John the Baptist, Jesus Christ, the Crucifixtion, the Atonement, the Ressurection, etc. I learn something every Sunday; from the lesson and the kids!
