Hi I'm Audrey Squires Davis

I am a 4th generation member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and am blessed to be able to say, "I'm a Mormon".

About Me

I am a wife, mother and grandmother. I am retired now, but have been an Occupational Therapist and a school secretary. My husband and I have served a work mission and have been temple workers, both of which have been highlights of our 50 years of marriage. I enjoy creating in many ways, and currently volunteer at a local public market where my works are showcased. I also love to volunteer at the local ministerial thrift shop which helps and supports our small community in many ways and where I try to be an example of what a Latter Day Saint should be

Why I am a Mormon

I once read a book titled "Why I Am a Mormon" in which the author said he was a 'Mormon' because The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints fufilled his Pysical, social and spiritual needs. This is true for me also. I have learned that by doing my best to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and keeping the covenants made with Him I have been greaty blessed and have found peace through many trials. By following the promptings of The Holy Ghost, my life has been saved many, many times. In spite of the wrong choices I have made from time to time, I have received personal witness that my Heavenly Father nows me personally, loves me dearly and is always near. As a young woman I sudied other religions and know that there is good and truths in all of them, but in The Church of Jesus Christ I find a completeness of the gospel of Jesus Christ and a knowledge of the Atonement of my Savior. Jesus Christ which sustains me at all times in all places.

How I live my faith

Due to health issues I am not currently serving in any church callings other than visiting teaching, where I am called with a companion to have watchcare over 5 sisters and their families. I also serve as occasional pianist and chorister when needed. In the past I have served in many capacities as a leader and teacher and have been blessed greatly by that service
