Hi I'm Annie

I live in Arizona. I write novels for young adults. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mother of three adorable girls. I stay at home with them during the day, and to help me stave off the mommy-brain-rot, I write novels for young adults. I want to create something that I'll be proud to have my daughters read when they get older. I want to create something that other parents will feel good about their own children reading. I love to cook and I love music. I love playing the piano and singing and watching my girls dance around me. I see my girls smile, and when one tells me, "I want to be a mommy like you when I grow up," I know I'm doing a half-decent job.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the sense of hope the gospel brings me. I know that I lived with my Heavenly Father before I came to this earth, and I know that I can live with him again. The gospel is about simplicity, and the gospel is about families. Like just about everyone else, I've lost loved ones. I have a little brother who passed away when I was a child; I've lost grandparents. I know I can see them again. I have been sealed to my husband in the temple for time and eternity. We will be married forever and can spend eternity with our children. The reassurance that brings me--to know that we'll be a family forever--buoys me up every day. I'll never truly have to say good-bye to them. My Heavenly Father loves me. Because of that love he sent my savior, Jesus Christ, to atone for my sins so I can live with him again.

How I live my faith

I'm the conductor of the choir in my congregation. I try to help those around me feel the spirit of Jesus Christ in our worship services through music. It's dear to my heart, and I've been blessed with talents in music, and I love to share that talent with others.
