Hi I'm Amy

I'm a Mormon and proud of it!

About Me

I'm a wife and the mother of three step-daughters who I love. I'm a rock climbing, canyoneering wakeboarding & hiking fanatic and love spending as much time outside as possible. My husband and I spend most of our weekends in various outdoor related activies. I work for a consulting company which specializes in working with Urgent Care companies. I love my job and work with some truly amazing people. I have a master's in business and am a strong proponant of education.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the LDS church by parents who love the gospel and lived it in all aspects of their lives. They truly give meaning to the term "Christ-like Parents". My goal is to someday have my children provide the same witness of my faith as a result of both my actions and my words. Being a member of the LDS church has provided me with so much strength and stability in my life. I know that I am a daughter of God and that I am loved unconditionally by him. I know that with his guidance and love I can do anything in my life. One of the most important aspects of the LDS faith is our focus on the family unit. I can't imagine my life without the love and support I recieve from my family. Having faith in the Lord provides guidance and direction and gives me a purpose that I can't find in worldy pursuits. Who I am and what I am is because of my faith in the Lord and I'm proud to say that I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I want my faith to be reflected in all my activies. I'm not perfect, but I try to live my life as an example to those around me. I currently serve as a gospel doctrine teacher for the 15-17 year old youth in my ward/congregation. I teach the most amazing group of kids and I am so proud of them and the testimonies that each of them have. They are not your typical teenagers. They are bright, funny, helpful wonderful kids who do their best to live their lives right.
