Hi I'm Meri

I'm a mother of four, the wife of one computer geek and still have a sense of humor! *LaUgH* I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up in the Nevada wilderness, poor and Tomboyish and number six out of seven kids and have been through MANY trials. When I was 6 years old I was hit by a tour bus and given little hope for survival. After I taught myself to write, talk and walk again, I looked acted and thought like any "normal" kid. I lost my first husband in a car accident when I was 22. We had a 9 month old son at the time. Since then I have successfully re-married, graduated with a "BS in BS," adopted a son and given birth to two girls. Today I have the opportunity to stay at home and play/work with my kids. I can't think of anything that could bring me more joy than to see my kids smile. However, I do really like to read, travel, hike/nature walk, and I love to feed the animals at the park! That is so awesome!!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and have always known that it was the right church for me. When I was hit by the bus, I was unconcious for a week, but I never felt alone. I was given a preisthood blessing and promised that I would live a normal life when the doctors were telling my mom that I wouldn't make it home from the hospital. I believe that God has blessed my life for reasons that I'm not even sure of!! Even though I lost my husband at such a young age, I still have his wonderful, beautiful, totally AWESOME family that is part of my life as well as my current husbands and ALL of my children! The belief that there is a God and I can be with my loved ones again brings me the greatest happiness that I have ever known!

How I live my faith

I help plan activities for the women of our church. Mostly I just goof off with some really cool ladies! Most of them are really talented! I would say that I'm the only one that has not been given the gift of "crafts." They still love me though!! ;)
