Hi I'm Amber

I'm an Arizona girl. I'm a theatre lover. I live and breathe music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm am the oldest daughter of a big, close family. My biggest passion in life in performing, so I decided to follow that dream past high school graduation. I am currently a sophomore in college, working on my BFA in Classical Acting. I spend most of my waking hours in rehearsals, preparing for auditions, or singing in the shower. I love reading until the crack of dawn, laughing with my friends and family, superhero movies, Disneyland, and chocolate.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family and so I've grown up a member of the Church. Some people might think that mad it easier for me, but growing up Mormon I didn't really know how to live life any other way. There was a point where I knew I had to take a step back and decide for myself if I wanted to be a member of this church. I prayed and thought about it a lot and eventually I realized that this was the right place to be. That feeling of confirmation and reassurance cannot be described. It's great to know where I'm going in life and where I'm going after life. I know that God is on my side and if I obey Him, I don't need to worry about anything. He is always there to protect and guide me. Having that knowledge helps me feel safe and makes me love life all the more!

How I live my faith

I love going to church! I make sure to go every week because being at church reminds me of who I am, where I came from, and what my purpose is on this earth. I also find time to read the scriptures and pray every day, because I believe personal study and growth is essential to maintaining a close relationship with God. I have such optimism about life and the future. I love to make people laugh and brighten their day, because I know that sometimes good, healthy laughter is just what someone needs. When I'm at work, school, or hanging out with friends, I strive to treat those around me with empathy and love.
