Hi I'm Kadi

I'm the girl next door and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and a mother of four beautiful children. I graduated from college with a psychology degree which is very helpful to me as a wife and mother! I work just 5 hours a week teaching classes at a local athletic club, but the rest of the time I am privileged to stay home with my kids. I grew up playing sports and every spring I get to coach high school softball. I still love to play whenever I can, but these days I spend much more time watching my kids play the sports they love. My husband and I are fanatical fans of University of Arizona sports. We also like to run, adventure race, and sing together. We have a good life!

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a Mormon. I was raised in this church by a very active father and a not-so-active mother. Both of my parents set an example of compassion and integrity and it was easy for me to choose to be an active member of the church. My testimony of the love that my Savior, Jesus Christ, has for me grew tremendously when I moved out of my parent's home to go to college. I realized that I could choose anything I wanted at that point, but it felt right for me to continue to follow the path that I had been shown from my childhood. I read the Book of Mormon with a serious desire to have my own testimony of it's teachings. I felt peace as I was reading and when I completed the book, I prayed to know if what I read was true and I felt an overwhelming confirmation in my heart and mind. I am a Mormon because being a Mormon helps me to be a more loving wife, a kinder, more patient mother and a better follower of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith day to day through service to my family, my friends, the members of our congregation, and the community. I absolutely love to work with the youth, whether they are members of our church youth group, or my high school softball players. I find great joy in helping the youth to understand their great potential when they turn their lives over to the Lord Jesus Christ. I think that it's important to just be an example of kindness and common courtesy in a world where these things aren't as common as they once were. I am far from perfect, but as I try to live my faith I am happier and so are the people around me.
