Hi I'm Fred Willyerd

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Husband, Father, Grandfather, Probation Officer, and Boy Scout Leader. I love camping and nature, watersports, and racket ball. People think of me as a computer geek and are always asking for help getting their computers to do what they want them to do. I enjoy Working with computers and programs but do not like to play computer games, at least. For very long.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon all my life. My parents were Mormons all of their life. I count myself very lucky to have gained a testimony fairly young in life. I think I always knew the Church was true but became converted fully about a year before I went on my mission. I believe in this church and especially in the divinity of Jesus Christ. I know he lives and that he loves each of us individually. He cares about us more than we are capable of fully understanding. I love to serve him and do so by serving his children in whatever way I can. I'm a Mormon because it is the true and right path we should all follow. It makes me happy and I wish I could share it with everyone!

How I live my faith

I live my faith through service. I have been a missionary and try to always share the gospel of Jesus Christ with everyone I know without becoming over bearing as I believe each of us has the right to live our lives as we see fit as long as we do not infringe on the rights of others. I have almost always worked in callings involved with youth and most recently in a local ward Bishopric. I have always enjoyed all my callings and truly enjoyed serving in whatever capacity I have been asked.

Are Mormons Christians?

Fred Willyerd
People have often asked me why Mormon's aren't Christians... The truth is that Mormon's are Christians in every sense of the word. We believe in Christ, we follow Christ and strive to be like him to the best of our abilities. He is our Redeemer, our Savior our all. Our entire church is based on his teachings and it is in fact his church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Show more Show less
