Hi I'm Tiffany

I am a mother to three beautiful children, a wife to a loving husband, a daughter, a sister, sister-n-law and aunt. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the third of six children in my family. I have three brothers and two sisters. I am married and have three beautiful children. I am doing what I have always desired to do when I "grew up". I am fortunate to be able to stay home and raise my children and not have to work outside of the home. I stay very busy caring for my home and family. I enjoy going to the gym, taking my youngest to story time at the library, spending time with my family, volunteering in my children's classrooms in school, and visiting with friends. My favorite vacations are going to Disneyland and the beach. I enjoy playing card and board games with family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were non-members of the Church and met each other while attending college at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. They were both from different religious backgrounds. One of my mother's best friends growing up was a Mormon. My father didn't know much about Mormons prior to attending BYU, but chose the school because he saw a picture of the campus with the mountains and snow and thought it was beautiful. Once they were married and had two children they spoke with some Mormon missionaries and after learning about the Church, decided to be baptized. I was born and raised in the church and have been taught the truth my whole life. Throughout my life I have received warm feelings and confirmation from the Spirit of the Lord that this is the Lord's church here on the earth today. The gospel teaches me why I am here on earth, where I came from, what happens after this life, how I should live my life in accordance to the teachings of Jesus Christ and how I can be happy in this life and in the life to come. The gospel of Jesus Christ brings peace and comfort to me as well. My mother passed away almost six years ago from cancer. She was barely 60yrs old when she died. She passed away only 10 1/2 months from the time she learned of the cancer. That year was a very difficult time for our family. My mother didn't want to die nor did we want to lose our mother prematurely. Family was the most important thing to her and she was always looking forward to being a grandmother. I had given her her first grandchild who was only 21mos old when she passed. She was deprived of her biggest dreams to enjoy being a grandma. I can't imagine going through life not knowing where my mother is now and wondering if I'll ever see her again. I know with a surety that she is with our Father in Heaven and we will be together again and that our family is bound forever and that death cannot break us apart. The gospel of Jesus Christ helps me to endure my trials in life.

How I live my faith

I am blessed to be able to serve the little ones in Church. Each Sunday I get to care for the children who are 18months old to 3 years old. We get to read to them, sing with them, teach them about Jesus Christ and feel of their special Spirits. I also enjoy visiting with fellow sisters in the Church each month and developing friendships with them and working together to build homes of faith, love and a place of peace. The gospel of Jesus Christ teaches me how to be a better person.
