Hi I'm Heather

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of 4 kids. They are active in sports! My boys are in football, soccer, basketball, and baseball. My girls are dancers, gymnasts, and soccer players...I'm hoping to get them to try softball! I love team sports! I like to jog! I have done a couple of half marathons. I LOVE to scrapbook! My husband gives me a hard time because I have so much scrapbooking stuff! It's something that I enjoy doing. I enjoy singing and playing the piano. I am teaching my oldest daughter how to play the piano. I am trying to go back to school and get my degree. I want my kids to see that even though I am older, I can still be educated!

Why I am a Mormon

I have visited other churches..not too many but a couple. I LOVE that while my husband is in the military, that where ever we are, you can go to church and it is the same thing. There isn't anything weird or strange. You will always be greeted at the door with a smile and the sacrament is the same, the teachings are the same. They are coming from the same materials that are all over the world. When I went to college, I was by myself. I felt alone and I went to church, but I felt lonely. Silent Night will never have the same meaning to me. It reminded me that I'm not alone and that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are always with me. Every Christmas, I am reminded of this testimony.

How I live my faith

I just moved into my new ward. I haven't been asked to participate in a calling yet. I know that it will come, we have only been here a short time. In my previous ward, I helped organize events for the ladies in our ward. We were able to get together and learn new things or get to know each other better.
