Hi I'm Angela

I am a wife, mother, and part-time dental hygienist. I love being outside with my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have the best job in the world- I am a mother. My kids are two and four and they keep me busy and smiling. I am blessed to have another job I love and can do part-time. I work one day a week as a dental hygienist. It's fun to help others keep their smiles healthy and clean. Our family loves to hike and walk all over our dry Arizona mountains. When it is too hot to go outside I love to sew and cook and be creative with our home decorating including re-finishing our furniture. I love to read when I have a quiet moment and we love to read as a family together, both from the scriptures and a fun fantasy or science fiction novel. We love to play games- active ones that get us moving and board games that keep us smiling. We love spending time as a family and love to get together with extended family and are happy that our kids' cousins are close by. They are each other's best friends!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have found that this gospel is the best way to find light in a dark and troubled world. I had a couple of years where I chose to live in darkness and do things that my friends were doing and it left me confused, lonely and deeply sad. I then worked my way out of the darkness into the loving arms of my Savior, Jesus Christ, and have never looked back. I have found that the principles and doctrines taught in the church are true and correct and that as long as I follow them and I will be living righteously, with a strong purpose and a bright hope and joy for the future. I am so grateful that I know that I am a loved daughter of God- that He knows me, loves me, wants to bless me and has given me all that I have. Being a Mormon brings me peace, conviction, light and love. It keeps me smiling.

How I live my faith

I am happy to go to church each Sunday where I can participate in lessons and discussions by sharing my thoughts and experiences with others as they share their thoughts and experiences with me. I also have been given the name of two women who live close by to visit and call upon. I am so happy to be able to get to know them, make sure their spiritual and physical needs are met and to have these new friends I am sure I will grow to love. I am also very happy that I can support my husband in his calling as an assistant scout master. He loves working with those fine young men and it makes me happy to know they have someone who cares about them and will be a righteous example for them.
