Hi I'm Chris

I love creating and listening to music. I love running. I'm serving a mission in Chile. I'm living the dream. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised mainly in Arizona and I love Arizona. I can't see myself anywhere else. I absolutely love music. I'd probably die without it. I've played the cello since I was 10 years old and still play to this day. I later taught myself from my cello experience to play the electric bass guitar, acoustic guitar, and electric guitar. The best of both worlds right? Classical music and rock music. Love it. I love listening to and creating music and making people happy through my musical talents. I also love running. Running is what I do to clear my mind. People think I'm crazy because of it, but it helps me stay active, healthy, and sane. I love this gospel. I'm serving as a missionary for the church in the Chile Santiago North mission from August 2011 to August 2013.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the covenant as a member of the Church. But if it weren't for my grandpa and his decision to be baptized and join the Church, I probably would not be a part of this Church and serving a mission. I love this gospel and I know it makes people happy. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is amazing to me. Without it and the Atonement, I would be lost. Life for me would have no meaning. I know that this Gospel is the most important thing and by focusing on it, I have more faith and come closer to Christ my Savior.

How I live my faith

The reason I live the way I do is because of the knowledge I have gained through reading the scriptures, meditating, and praying. Basically, through revelation. My Father in heaven has answered my prayers and questions through the Holy Ghost. And that knowledge and feeling drive me and form the way I live. I have an assurance that if I just trust in God, everything will be alright. It will be alright. I trust in Him because He knows what's best. I don't live this way because my family or friends or missionaries have told me to, rather because I want to. I have this desire to live the way I do that comes from being converted to the Gospel. And it's so worth it.
