Hi I'm Meghan

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Above all, I am a wife! I will never regret the decision I made to be with Mark for forever! I am a mother to three beautiful young children. My life is busy; from helping with homework for a first grader, to helping my four year old learn to read, to changing 3-6 diapers daily! My release? I love to run, it gives me "my time" and helps me have more energy to deal with my kids! I also love to cook, a recent hobby (or necessity :)). I picked up on trying new recipes instead of doing the same old thing (think spaghetti)! I think Mark is really liking this new hobby of mine!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member all of my life! I was fortunate to have parents who taught me the Gospel, who were excellent examples, with Christ-like characteristics. Growing up, I relied HEAVILY on their testimonies. It really wasn't until my college days at BYU when I was on my own and had to rely on myself and really finding out if this was the pathway I wanted to continue following. I'm so glad I did! With three small children and a world full of people calling good things evil and evil things good I am so blessed to have the Gospel to help me guide my children. They are like tiny plants...they need to be watered, given sunshine and a good foundation of soil in order to grow! You would never just plant a seed and than "hope for the best!?" I am there, along with Mark, to help Porter, Claire and Lilly grow tall! A son and two daughters of our Heavenly Father... This, along with many other reasons, is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Since being new to the area, Mark and I have never lived in Arizona before, I was never really scared to move down here not knowing anyone. I knew that as soon as we started going to church I would make friends. That my children would make friends. I may not have five kids as some moms, I may not work outside the home, We are not newlyweds, We don't have grandchildren, but what we do have in common with our new ward is the Gospel! People have been so nice. I feel apart of a "family," away from my family!
