Hi I'm Linda

I am a wife mother and grandma. I love my family. I am not extraordinary, I am just happy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was not raised in the church but joined when I was 19. My Dad was in the Air Force and we traveled when I was young. The greatest thing I have ever done was being allowed to be mom to my four children. I have an amazing son, three incredible diverse daughters. I have learned more by being a mom than anything other experience in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always had a believe in the Lord and felt that He would want me to lead a life that would be the best I could. I wish I could say I was always that but I am still struggling to be the best I can. I know the Lord loves me and will never forget me. I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints because I saw the youth of the church and wanted what they had for my family. Eventually I came to realize it wasn't the social part of the church I craved it was the peace and knowledge of my Savior I needed. I love the scriptures, I am excited as I come to understand always more clearly God truely is unchanging. He never lies and loves us beyond what we can comprehend. I am his child, He is my Father.

How I live my faith

I am now retired, I have time to do things for others. I am blessed with wonderful neighbors whom I love very much. I volunteer at a hospital, I serve on the sheriffs emergency responders as a radio operator, I knit but only when I can find time. I thought I would be relaxing as I age but find I am busier than when I worked. I am involved with my grandchildren and love to spend time with them. They truely are the blessings of old age. At church I teach the class for those who want to know the basics of what we believe, I love their questions and their insights. My husband and I went on a 28 month mission to a campground in Washington. I ran the office and he did repairs and maintanence. We had some great experiences there.
