Hi I'm Becky

I'm a Mormon. I have three little boys. I worked as a dental assistant for 7 years before I started having children.

About Me

I love to refinish furniture. I am always on the look out for old, sturdy, solid wood furniture, that I re-paint and make it look brand new! I also love to decorate my house. I am always looking for new ideas. I really enjoy spending time with my family. When we are all together (doesn't matter what we are doing) it makes me happy. If I could go anywhere I think I would choose Niagra Falls. I have always wanted to go there since I was a child, and hopefully I will go when my kids get a little older. I am also really into natural child birth and nutrition. These two subject I can talk about forever :)

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of the Mormon church. My parents were really good about taking us to church every Sunday to learn more about Jesus Christ. As I grew my faith was tested. I got made fun of a lot for being a Mormon. I always loved to hear all the "Mormon Myths" that went around about us. It always gave me a laugh. I gained a very personal witness that Jesus is my Savior and that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me and knows my name. Since then I have continued to remain faithful to the Mormon church and always will. I am not a member just because my parents are. I have my own personal belief that this is the true church on this earth today. I feel very strongly about people asking God for themselves and putting aside what anyone else has told them, if their church is true. I have done that. No other church encourages their members and non-members to find out for themselves.

How I live my faith

I go to church once a week, on Sunday, and learn about our Savior Jesus Christ. I have the opportunity to teach all the women in our area. The 3rd hour of church, all the women 18 and older meet together. I teach once a month and it is such a rewarding, spiritual experience for me. I also am assigned to three ladies in our church that I go visit once a month. I make sure they are doing okay and find out if there is anything I can do to help them in their lives. I really love how we take care of each other, and also I love how we take care of people that are not members. Everyone is God's child and He has commanded us to take care of one another.
