Hi I'm Erin

I'm a traveler, philanthropist and a Karaoke enthusiast and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Mississippi into a Mormon family. My family moved to various different places throughout my life which provided me an opportunity to travel. I love to travel! Some of my favorite places are: Italy, Egypt, Zambia, Kenya, Switzerland and Thailand. One of the greatest things to experience during my travels is taking the opportunity to attend church in each location and meet fellow members. I love learning and am looking forward to beginning a Masters program in January. Some of my favorite things to do are: eating, singing karaoke, dancing, swimming, boating, reading and doing anything that involves people.

Why I am a Mormon

My choice to be a Mormon is simple. I know that I have a loving Heavenly Father and a Savior Jesus Christ who love us so much that they have prepared a way through this life to make it back to Them. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the Lord's church and was organized by Him through living prophets. I have studied and prayed throughout my life and know that this is His church. I'm a Mormon, a member of His church, because this is where the Lord wants me to be and I can't imagine being anywhere else.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in every action each day. I wake up and say my prayers, strive to love and serve my fellowman throughout the day and then close my day with scripture study and prayer. Within the church I serve as a Gospel Doctrine teacher and have been privileged to teach on the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I also had the opportunity to be a missionary in North Carolina. I loved that place and the people and especially loved sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ each day.
