Hi I'm Brad

I'm a husband and a father. I'm a firmware engineer, and a scoutmaster. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised on a farm and learned to work hard. I like to know how things work, so I became a computer engineer and now I program firmware. I like to teach youth, to fix things, and to camp in the mountains. I have been married to a beautiful woman for 21 years, and we love raising our 3 teenagers together in Colorado.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe one of the most important things we can do in this lifetime is to find out if God exists, and if so, what he would have us do. It makes sense to me that if our Heavenly Father wants us to do something, he will let us know. I prayed and felt my Heavenly Father answer that prayer with the assurance that He does exist, and that he does have a plan for us. I feel that the Church of Jesus Christ of LatterDay Saints teaches that plan, and that following that plan has brought me a lot of happiness.

How I live my faith

Over the years I've had the opportunity to serve in many ways, and I've learned from each. Currently I work with the young men as Scoutmaster, as well as visiting a small number of families each month. In my daily life, I try to study the scriptures and pray for the Lord's help, then do my best to implement the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ

What is faith?

Faith is a word that has been used in many ways. To me, having faith means having a belief in something to the point you're willing to act on that belief. I'm grateful for many examples of faith in the scriptures of men and women who did things great and small because of what they had learned about the Lord. Show more Show less
