Hi I'm Carly

I'm a Washingtonian. I'm a musician. I'm a student. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old and I am a freshman at BYU-Idaho studying Web Development. When I'm not hard at work with my studies I like to play the piano and the trombone. I absolutely love all kinds of music, however, I have a special appreciation for broadway and jazz (especially when they're combined). I get my exercise playing soccer, tennis, and other games. I live in the beautiful state of Washington with my large and lovable family.

Why I am a Mormon

Up until a few years ago I was a Mormon because my parents were Mormon. They taught me to believe in and to have faith in Christ and His teachings, but now my faith has turned into a knowledge and testimony of the truthfulness of His gospel. I am a Mormon because I know I am only happy when I'm following the teachings of the Jesus Christ. Unlike the fleeting joys of the world, living this gospel brings lasting and true happiness. I am a Mormon because I know that through this gospel sins can be forgiven and I can be made free and clean once more. And I am a Mormon because through the blessings of the restored gospel, families are eternal.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by standing as a witness of Christ. I try to be the best example of Christlike love that I can through word and deed.
