Hi I'm Aubrey

I am a wife, mother, and an identical twin. I am Jewish and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a total foodie. I love to eat yummy food. I am always trying new recipes. I always say I have sweet teeth. I enjoy working out and wish I could do it more often, if my body would stop falling apart on me. I enjoy the outdoors and LOVE spending time with my family. I have been blessed with an amazing husband who is also a wonderful father to our 3 kiddos. We have 2 daughters and 1 son ( who melts my heart). They are so fun and I learn so much from them and from being their mommy.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a family of 4. I have an identical twin sister whom I am very close with. We grew up Jewish, but always celebrated Hanukkah and Christmas ( we had to have a tree and Santa Clause to bring presents). My parents separated when I was in 4th grade and finally divorced when I was in 7th grade. I had attended 2 years of Hebrew school, but it was too hard for me, so I quit. I grew up with a lot of friends who were Mormon. They had amazing families and were always such a good example to me. They always made me feel apart of their family. After I graduated from college I began dating my husband who was Mormon. I decided I should start looking into the church more seriously. I did not like feeling pushed into anything. I went through many sets of missionaries, but didn't feel the need to make any changes in my life. It was after sincere prayer, reading my scriptures and deciding what things in life really mattered to me that I decided to join the church. My husband baptized me and a year later we were married in the San Diego temple. I have been a member of this wonderful church for almost 10 years now. I am so grateful for the church in my life and can't imaging my life without it.

How I live my faith

I love working with the young women in my church. They are such sweet girls who have such strong testimonies of Jesus Christ. I am amazed by their examples and am grateful for all they teach me. I always seem to be called to teach, maybe because that was my occupation before I had the occupation of mommy! I have taught the little kids in church and even the high school kids. I also have had the opportunity to lead discussions and teach the women in my church. I love to serve, it gives me the feeling that I have a purpose.
