Hi I'm Kristine Low

I'm a young biology teacher in Arizona. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just graduated with my BS in Biology Education. I'm starting my first year of teaching and I am absolutely loving it. My husband is attending Midwestern University for dental school and we're both super busy, but we find time to enjoy the desert. We love playing board games and hanging out with friends.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were looking for a church to join when I was about 1 year old. They were stationed in Frankfurt on an Army base there, and that is where they met some friends who were Mormon and learned all about the faith. To make a long story short, they were baptized and that's how I was raised a Mormon. Growing up I learned about Christ and his sacrifice for us, but it wasn't until junior high when I began to take a good look at this faith. After reading the Bible, the Book of Mormon, and other church material, I prayed to ask Heavenly Father if it was true and if I should stay a member of this church. I felt an overwhelming sense of peace, the same peace I felt when I read the scriptures and when I attended church. I continue to feel peace and happiness as I live the gospel and see all of the blessings (both tangible and spiritual) it brings me on a daily basis.

How I live my faith

I like to stay involved in music and with the youth as much as I can. I do special music numbers with my flute and participate in the choir.
