Hi I'm Jeff

I grew up in Utah. I am a working professional with a young family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love my family and my Savior Jesus Christ! I grew up in Utah living christian principles and discovered God through the trials experienced in my life and through relying up God through prayer. I served a church mission for 2 years in the Canary Islands of Spain. I enjoy all kinds of sports, spending time with my wife and kids, and making memories that will last forever. Work is important to me and keeps me busy. I find that any activity that we do in life is supposed to be to hopefully make the world a better place.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents have had a great impact on my life through their teachings, example, and service. I grew up with a good conscience of knowing the difference between right and wrong. My parents and their parents are LDS and they taught me those christian principles but I never asked God for myself regarding the truthfulness of the church, the Book of Mormon, or its teachings until I was on my mission living in Spain. I decided that I needed to know for myself of it's truth if I was going to teach others about the gospel of Christ. I knelt down one evening by my bed and I asked God, in a more sincere way than I had ever prayed earnestly wanting to know the truth, and he answered my prayer through his holy spirit by touching my soul through a peace and warm feeling that overcame my body. I couldn't help to become emotional. At that moment, I was so grateful that God had been so patient with me through my weakness and times of ignorance that I promised God that I would never forget that anwer and that I would spend the rest of my life choosing to follow his prophets, his teachings, and his gospel. My life has been different since that night because I now have a knowledge of God that he loves me, know me personally, and that he wants me to be happy. I married my eternal companion and now together we serve him by teaching our children these principles of faith and prayer and we are continuing to be blessed. I don't know where I would be if I wouldn't have taken the time to pray and just ask with a sincere heart for that knowledge I received. I can't deny what I know to be true because I know it and I know that God knows it.

How I live my faith

I have served in the Youth organization in the church and with the Boys Scouts for the last 6 years. At age 19, I served an LDS Mission to the Canary Islands, Spain which was a great experience that changed my life forever. I have had several leadership positions in the community with chambers of commerce and youth and hispanic organizations. Serving others is how we show our love to God and his children.
