Hi I'm Efrain

I was raised in McKinney, TX. I'm a senior in High School. I'm a fighter, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi my name is Efrain. I'm a senior in High School, my hobbies include weight lifting, boxing, and hanging out with friends.

Why I am a Mormon

My dad became a member of the church at age 9 and my mom at age 18. I was born into the church. But I still had the choice of being baptized and become a member at age 8. I've been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints since I was 8. I have lived the Gospel my whole life and have seen the blessings that it has brought into my life. I know that as long as I follow all of God's commandments, He will bless me, that's why I choose to be a Mormon, because the church helps me do the things that my Father in Heaven wants me to do.

How I live my faith

I'm the first assistant of the priest chorum, I go to seminary and mutual. I'm my dad's home teaching companion. I love serving those that need help, physically, emotionally, or spiritually.

Are Mormons Christians?

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Creator. When Jesus lived on the earth, He led a perfect life and taught by word and example how we should live together in love. We believe that through Christ's Atonement, we can be saved from ours sins as we follow Him. Each week at church as we partake of the sacrament, we renew our promise to always remember Him and keep His commandments. We love Jesus Christ. We worship Jesus Christ. He is our Savior and Redeemer. Show more Show less

What is the Book of Mormon?

The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ just like The Holy Bible that contains both the Old and the New Testament. It is a record of the of the prophets in the American continent just like The Holy Bible is a record of the prophets in the European continent. We believe in both. We believe that God loves all of his children and wants all of them to be saved, so he gave both the people from the American continent and the European continent these testaments, which are His word. The book of Mormon contains the teachings of Jesus Christ, testifying of His Atonement and His love. The Book of Mormon verifies the Bible, and vice versa. Through the Book of Mormon we may know the truth of the Gospel of Chrsit. Show more Show less
