Hi I'm Susan

I'm a mother. I'm an artist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mom of four kids who totally rock my world. I help to take care of my elderly mother. I love to read, and sew (when I have the time). I love creating stained glass and ceramics. I feel that I am losing my mind, and often wish for more time in the day to do the things that I enjoy.

Why I am a Mormon

Ever since I was a little girl, I remember going to the LDS church. I was baptized when I was eight, and have been converted over my entire lifetime. There isn't one specific moment that I had decided that the church was true, I have just always known in my heart that it was true. I know God loves me even when I struggle with wondering why I am having a hard time. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior. I believe in modern day prophets and that they have guided me through my life. I am a member of this church because I know it is true.

How I live my faith

My life is ever-changing. There was a time when I could give to my children's schools, help teachers, organize art programs. But now, my family needs more of me and my time. As my mother gets older, and can do less for herself, I have opportunities to more for her. I enjoy taking time from my schedule to visit with ladies in my church, and help them during their hard times. And recently during my hard times, I was able to let them help me. They bless my life and I hope that I bless theirs.
