Hi I'm Heather ann

I'm an everyday gal, a mom, a wife, a sister and a friend. I know that I am a daughter of God. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mother of three kiddos...who are lovely, but keep me on my toes. I am married to my best friend, who sometimes counts as my fourth kiddo, but that's what I love most about him. We are just spending our days working hard and trying to create a memorable childhood for our kids. I love to learn...i love learning about the human body, exercise, and nutrition....but I'm also the kind of gal that loves a good cookie or piece of cake. I love to bake! There is something so satisfying about making something delicious, eating it...and sharing with others. Im inspired by charitable people, good music, and creating things with my hands. My favorite things are movie nights in my family room with my family, conversations with my husband, quality time with good friends, and laughing with my two brothers and sister. I talk to my mom at least once a day and love time spent with my dad. I dream of doing great things one day....but I know that what I am doing now, raising my family with my husband, will be my greatest accomplishment.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a Mormon, but have continued in my faith because of one underlying truth....that I am a daughter of god. Because of my faith I know who I am. Because I know who I am, I am confident in the decisions I have made in life. I know who I am, where I came from and where I am striving to go. That one truth carries me through hard times and makes me strive to be a better person. I know that god knows me, as an individual, and that he loves me. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to give of myself continually. It is important to me to serve my fellow church members, but also neighbors and community members. I often think of Christ and how he continually served others. I try to do that in my own little ways, whether that is taking someone dinner, watching someone's children, cleaning for someone or being a shoulder to cry on. Doing all that I can for others helps me to stay grounded. My favorite quote is "forget yourself, and go to work".
