Hi I'm Chris

I'm a father of three, a therapist, and an avid reader. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have three children, two of whom have special needs.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, so I have always strived to do the things I was taught as a child. It was, however, as a young man that I learned for myself that the church is true. One way I came to know this was by reading and praying about the Book of Mormon. I came to know this book was true. I have also learned by following God's commandments. I know when I do, I am certain that what I am doing is right. In contrast, I never feel further away from God than when I am not doing the things I was taught as a child.

How I live my faith

My faith informs every day of my life. My family and I pray together every day, at least two or three times a day. I am more invovled with my children because I know that my role as a father is a sacred one, so I take it more seriously than I am naturally inclined to do. Recognizing that many people will judge the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints by the things I say and do, I try to act in a way that reflects well on the Church. I try to act the way a Mormon should act; the way I know that a disciple of Christ would act.
