Hi I'm Shilo

I'm a native Arizonan, avid crafter, music lover, Scrabble dominator and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a recently graduated physician assistant who is ready to hit the working world hard and strong. Now that school is done, I excited to spend more time with my loving husband, finish all the projects I have for our house, pick up some good books, begin playing the piano again, and enjoy the beautiful outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a home where the teachings of the gospel of Jesus Christ were taught and lived everyday. As I grew up, I strived to live the principles I learned and follow the examples I saw. Through obedience, I was blessed. Over the years, line upon line, I gained a strong testimony that this church was true and it founded on God’s teachings. I know as I follow this gospel, I am happier. It is not always easy or fun, but through the church, I gain a peace and comfort that comes nowhere else.

How I live my faith

I serve in the church as the congregation’s choir director. Before receiving this calling, I had never directed a choir before, and although I love to sing and can play the piano, I had never done something so involved musically. Through faith and the generous help of others around me, our congregation has had a beautiful choir numbers performed bimonthly for the past 2 years.
