Hi I'm Ann

I'm a mother of five, grandmother of 11 and I love to cater weddings for friends and family and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a care-giver for my sweet, 84-year-old mother. I am finishing up my Bachelor of General Studies this year at Brigham Young University and planning to graduate in 2012. I am married (36 years)to my wonderful husband and love to spend time with our five children and 11 grandchildren. I have two passions: Studying and learning gospel truths and baking, cooking, catering, and entertaining for my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ all of my life. My testimony of my Savior, Jesus Christ is the anchor to all I do each day. I know that following His teachings and example brings great joy and peace to my life. I know through great financial losses, that He is the one who preserves us from day to day. I feel His love and know that He has a plan for my life, even when I really mess it up. As a cancer survivor with a miraculous recovery, I testify that miracles do occur and when we look for them one can find them on an almost daily basis. I am grateful for the people and circumstances in my life that teach me the things I need the most. I know that God answers prayers.

How I live my faith

My husband and I teach the 16-17 year-olds in Sunday School. This year we are teaching the New Testament. I love my class because of their faithfulness and diligentce in living the gospel. I make treats each week to show my love for them. I love visiting several women in the ward who have become my good friends. I check to see how they are doing and if they need anything. We have become the best of friends through these monthly (and sometimes more) visits. I leave them with an uplifting spiritual message before I leave their home. Sometimes I am asked to be in charge of making a lunch or dinner for the women in our ward or for someone who is sick or just had a baby. This is one of my favorite things to do, as I love to cook/bake.
