Hi I'm Amy

I am a wife, mother, and photographer.

About Me

Hi, I am a mom of three great kids, and a photographer. I like to play volleyball, go on bike rides with my family, and travel. I love digital scrapbooking, and making all kinds of things in photoshop. I feel very lucky that my hobby of photography has also become my profession. I am an avid wedding photographer, and I also help manage a wedding facility with my husband. We enjoy our profession because it allows us to have the time we need with our children and each other.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for many reasons. First of all, I believe in Jesus Christ, and going to church helps me remember that he loves me and all of us. Secondly, I want to teach my children to be good people and be well- rounded. Being a Mormon provides many opportunities to serve others and learn from each other. Thirdly, I want my testimony and knowledge of Heavenly Fathers plan to continue to grow. One of the best things I have learned from being a Mormon, is that Heavenly Father hears and answers prayers. I know that he is aware of me and that he will help me through hard times. I have had my prayers answered many times.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying hard to do what is right each day. I attend church, volunteer at my children's school, and make the programs for church each Sunday. One aspect that I really love about being a member of the Mormon church, is the women's organization. I enjoy taking meals to other families when they have a new baby, or need some extra help. It was just this past month that I had skin cancer removed from my face- I had no idea how much it entailed! That night, two of the ladies from the women's organization brought us over a delicious meal. I was in no shape to cook, and I really appreciated their thoughtfulness. I am grateful to be part of a church that is always looking for ways to help others, and live like Jesus would want us to.
