Hi I'm Sarah

I grew up as an Army brat. I'm a wife and a happy mother of four living in the Midwest. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the wife to the love of my life! The mom to my 4 crazy kids. I spend my days doing laundry, driving the carpool, making meals, cleaning up messes, reading books, talking on the phone, playing games, and snuggling. Doesn't get much better than this, in my book!

Why I am a Mormon

Since I was raised as a Mormon, I've always known the truths that the Church teaches. Now that I'm a mom and a wife, I continue living my faith because I know that this gospel is what I need in order to be happy and to link my family to me forever. Now that I have children that I'm responsible for, I want to be sure to teach them how to be productive members of society, and every value and aspect of the gospel not only helps me teach them to be members of society in the future, but also helps me instill in them the faith necessary for the eternities.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving with my family. I love to visit friends monthly to share and talk about gospel principles with them, so we can draw strength from each other. I love taking meals to friends when they're in need. I love working with a great group of 8-10 year old girls, helping them to learn to set goals, serve others, and develop habits that will help them be happy throughout their life.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Sarah
Mormon women are just like any other women in the world. I have good friends who are in graduate school without any children, stay at home moms, working moms, and single moms. What sets us apart from the world, isn't that we're all alike, it's that even though we're all so individual, we all believe that we are children of God. And with that belief, we expect to be treated as a daughter of God should. We all find our own paths and live the life we are supposed to live, and we all find joy on that path when we rely on our Faith to help us find our way. Men and women are equally important. It is expected that as husband and wife, we will work together to help fulfill our responsibilities as equal partners. Show more Show less
