Hi I'm Shari

I'm a daughter, sister, wife, mother, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to learn, and I love to reinvent myself. I have worked as a retail manager, counselor for troubled teens, nail tech in a salon, shipping store manager, massage therapist, wellness coach and now as my husbands business manager and publicist. As I finished up my schooling for a masters in science in holistic nutrition I actually closed my practice in a doctors office to help my husband with his career as an artist. I now take care of his public relations, marketing, printing, packaging, and everything else but the art itself.... he does that and he is so very talented! My most important job though has been being a mother to my three wonderful children! I can't imagine my life without beng a mother and wife. I would have never know what I was capable of as a person without those roles in my life. They have brought me love, happiness, stress, tears and the chance to be able to rely on the Lord to support and guide me through it all. I have struggled to find my testimony in the Gospel if Jesus Christ, but now it is my greatest possession.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because when I live by the teachings of the Gospel, I am a better person. I have had the chance to both live with and without Christ in my life. The days that I spent away from the church were dark and without direction. I knew I had to make a choice to return to what I had been taught as a child. I choose to live in His light. My Savior wants nothing but the best for me and I know that as long as I am trying to live by His plan, I can have the love and support from Him. I love the teachings of the Gospel, they help me to know what is important in my life and give me the foundation to raise my 3 beautiful children to be wonderful, courageous, intelligent, and inspiring people. Living the teachings of the Gospel also helps to serve as the foundation of my marriage. With the influence of our Savior as a basis of our marriage, we love, live and learn as a unified team, with Christ at the head. I see such wonderful blessings in my life when I am following the example of Christ and being a light to those around me.

How I live my faith

I love to serve in the church. I love the chance it give me to grow and learn new things about myself, while being able to serve my brothers and sisters in the Gospel. I have served in many capacities; as the president of our children's program, as counselors and advisors with the youth, as a teacher of the Gospel Doctrines for the adults, and in many other wonderful positions. I also love the chance to serve as a visiting teaching sister.

What is being a Mormon like?

It's like being a mother, a wife, a sister, a daughter, a friend.... just being a person! I live my life just like any other person, I have good days, and bad days. I have stress and triumphs. The only thing that IS different in my life is that I have the knowledge of the fullness of the Gospel and all of the blessings that that brings into my life. And when I live my religion it shows....
