Hi I'm Alyssa

I'm a Mormon. I'm 25 and a Cosmetologist. I love life!

About Me

I've been married to my Keith for 2 years and we are in loooove! I just graduated cosmetology school and am excited to get started in that field. I really enjoy the arts and love to sing and dance. I went to film school and have a wedding video business on the side. I travel with my hubby every chance I get and Disneyland is my second home. My family are all very close and we have a lot of fun traditions (especially around Christmas)! I love life and look forward to every new day!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ because it brings me peace and happiness. Learning that I am a loved daughter of God through the teachings of this gospel gives me identity and makes me complete. I have found comfort in the knowledge I have gained in this church of salvation through the ever-compassionate and ever-forgiving Savior Jesus Christ. Which, to me means that as long as I am doing my best, Christ will make up the difference and He provides me the only way back to my Heavenly Father. I know that He has a plan for me, that will bring me more joy and make more out of me than I ever could achieve on my own. The teachings and guidances set forth in this Church protect me both physically and spiritually. I am a Mormon because I have felt the Holy Spirit in my heart of hearts bear witness, and I know this Church is the only true church on the Earth today.

How I live my faith

The more I try to follow Jesus Christ the better person I become and the happier I am. I enjoy living my faith every second of every day! I am a leader of teenage girls in the Church and it is wonderful to see their courage and hear their hope and joy in the future. I get opportunities to grow and gain experience in the church through being invited to sing in the choir for services and other church related events. I am developing my talents and learning as much as I can to not only enrich my life, but lift others as well. Christ taught to always give and think of others first and I have found that to be so very satisfying. These principles also are the key to maintaining my wonderful, fulfilling marriage. The Gospel of Jesus Christ guides me to find true joy in living day to day and a higher purpose in the world.
