Hi I'm Mike Denny

I like loud music, fast cars and I served 35 yrs in the US NAVY. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Married since 1979 to my childhood sweetheart. Three adult children. Four grandchildren, one of which my wife and I have adopted. I enjoy playing music, restoring, modifying and racing cars. I served as an Electronics Technician for 35 years in the US NAVY (10 yrs active duty, 25 yrs reserve). I've been an Airways Traffic Systems Specialist (Radar Technician) for the Federal Aviation Administration since 1987 maintaining and repairing Air Traffic Control radar, communications and data systems.

Why I am a Mormon

I enjoy the sense of family the church provides. The missionary's are the heart and soul of the LDS church. Their dedication and selflessness inspire and motivate me to be more like them. I hope one day to serve the missionary work of the church. The missionary's are the reason I investigated the church and the people of the church are why I joined.

How I live my faith

I serve as the second councilor of the High Priests group (senior male members). I am a home teacher for 6 families. I participate in ward sporting events as coach, participant and head cheerleader.
