Hi I'm Daniel

I'm a musician - I play piano, guitar, I sing, and I write music, I love computers, I golf, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Participating in and creating music is definitely my favorite past time. I write my own songs, I play piano, trombone, and guitar, and I was in my school's varsity choir. I also was on the high school golf team; it's a sport I really enjoy. I often golf with my dad and my older brother, and spending that time with them is so much fun. Whenever my brother gets the opportunity to come for a visit, we golf, we play basketball, and often play many video games, we're so competitive! I do a lot of video editing, such as for my own personal music videos or when I was on our school news broadcast team, I filmed and produced many of the animations and special effects. My dad is in the military, so we move around quite a lot, so I get to see a lot of new places and meet a lot of new people! I'm currently enrolled in BYU, and it's the best. I was called to serve a mission for the church in the Ghana Accra Mission, and I'm more excited than anything!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it's blessed my life immeasurably. It's guided me in everything I do and it's helped me grow and improve personally as well as spiritually. I feel with every fiber of my being that Jesus in the Christ—that He lives and that He loves us, and that's what this church is all about: leading us to deepen our relationship with our Father in Heaven and His son, Jesus Christ, so that one day we can return to live in their presence in joy and happiness and so we can grow to become like them.

How I live my faith

I do whatever I can to live a Christ-like life. I know I'm far from perfect, but by living righteously we can return to live with Him and become like Him. I try to always remember Him, whether I'm at church, spending time with friends, golfing, or even jamming out to some music. Christ always loves us, and He's always watching over us, so I try to do my best to follow Him in everything I do all of the time.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Daniel
I like to relate faith to swimming against a river. We must always keep working to continue to grow and progress. When we sit back and relax, we fall farther from Christ. There's no middle ground, we will always either fall back or be working to progress towards Christ. Show more Show less
