Hi I'm Leslie

I was raised in Southern CA. I am the mother of 4 children and 9 grand children. I own three fitness clubs. "I'm a Mormon."

About Me

I love life. I stay very active as an advocate for woman's health with three fitness health clubs that my husband and I own and manage. I enjoy power walking, hiking, reading self improvement books, gardening and best of all hanging out with my best friend, my husband whom I love with all my heart. I preserve food from my garden and have been making whole wheat bread for 36 years. My greatest joy and love in life is my family. I look forward to the time we spend with each other. I enjoy family reunions every other year which has become a tradition with my extended family and my husbands family. Reading a stack of books which purposely takes hours while snuggling with my grandchildren is one of my greatest joys in life!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been blessed with good parents who raised me in the Mormon Church. They instilled in me values and morals as taught by the leaders of this church who are inspired and guided by the Holy Spirit. I know that this is the true Church of Jesus Christ. He truly is the head of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Jesus Christ died for you and for me and has atoned for our sins. I know that I am a daughter of God. I know that God has a plan for me and know that if I keep His commandments and do all that I can do in righteousness I can return and live comfortably with Him again along with my family eternally. The church teaches these great truths. I feel peace and have faith and trust in my Savior Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I do have a great desire to follow Jesus Christ. He has showed us the way by His example. I stay close to Jesus Christ by reading His word, the scriptures and by praying to my Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ. I attend church every week and look forward to it. I continue to be edified and uplifted by others that I attend with. I enjoy serving in the church and grateful for the many opportunities the church has given me by serving the youth. I have taught an early morning seminary class (studying and discussing scriptures) to high school students for six years. I have been a Primary President for ten years and currently teach a class of 6 year old children each Sunday. I have the desire to live my faith because I know by doing so I can receive rich blessings that God has promised me and I do experience great Joy and peace in my life!
