Hi I'm Megan

I'm passionate. I'm strong. I'm happy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to do "stuff", all kinds of stuff. I read. I read all kind of things, I try to keep up with what my kids are reading. I love music. I play the oboe and the flute, I love the oboe best. Our kids are musical too. I sometimes feel like I am living in a practice room instead of a house. It's beautiful noise. I am good with my hands. Plumbing problems at our house are my responsibility. I am also good with fabric and stained glass, both of which are more fun to show off than plumbing. I can do amazing things with chocolate. I can fix my own bike (which my son tells me is "awesome".) I am passionate about my kids. I love to watch them grow and learn. They bring music, laughter, new ideas and energy to our home. I love to be where they are and to see them excel at activities I never thought of trying. They are some of the most tremendous people I know and I am a better person for knowing them.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon because it makes me happy! I am happy knowing that I am a Daughter of God. He knows me personally and is interested in my life, he wants me to be the best that I can be. I am happy knowing that God speaks to his children today as well as in olden times. He speaks to the Church through the living Prophets, but He also speaks to me. I am happy because the Gospel of Jesus Christ gives me purpose and direction.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in an organized way as I work with the cub scouts. They are enthusiastic and curious. We have a lot of fun as we learn together. I think I live my faith most often in an unofficial capacity when I serve the people around me in simple ways.
