Hi I'm David

I'm father, husband, and student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm going to school while being a father and husband of my family. I'm pursuing a degree in computer science. I have many interests, including line art, video games, writing, and, you guessed it, computers.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a Mormon for most of my life. I've come to rely on the Savior Jesus Christ to guide my way each and every day. He's been there assuring me of his love through hard times. There's a comfort he promises to all who believe in him, and I know of this personally. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only sure path to happiness. It's liberating to have an eternal perspective on life, helping to remind myself that life's problems aren't indefinite. I'm convinced each and every person can drink from the water of the Gospel and gain this reassuring love Jesus has for us, gaining a new perspective on what matters most in life. The most valuable knowledge I could ever learn of this Earth and life has the Gospel at it's core. It places into order all things known to be true and real, providing answers to many of life's most difficult problems. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is Christ's church restored to this Earth during our day. He guides His church through a living prophet and apostles. The Book Mormon is a convincing witness that Jesus Christ is our only path to salvation. The same God who covenanted with the Abraham the continued prosperity of his family, as read from the book of Genesis. The same God who led the Isrealites from Egyptian rule and bondage also covenanted with others who were not of that land. The Book of Mormon is another witness of Jesus Christ by another people that were made to hear the word of the Gospel Jesus Christ. It's a book for our day, and it's a perfect companion to the Old and New Testaments.

How I live my faith

I'm a youth Sunday School teacher. A companion and I also teach families in their homes. I enjoy being a part of this ward family. It feels good to serve others.
