Hi I'm David

I've been a high school principal for 30 years and love what I do. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married now for 35 years to Rachel. She gets more beautiful with each passing year. I have four children and six grandchildren. I have six brothers and five sisters. Although I try, I can't seem to keep track of how many nieces and nephews I have, let alone how many children they have. My mom has over 160 children/ spouses, grandchildren/ spouses, and great grandchildren. I enjoy gardening and yard work. I love to travel the USA, especially by car. I ride a motorcycle as often as weather permits.

Why I am a Mormon

As I grow older and look at the world around me, I see how my need for God increases every day. Being a Latter-Day Saint means that I believe in God the Eternal Father and in His son Jesus Christ. I also believe that the Holy Ghost compliments the Father and the Son in their work, which is to bring to pass our immortality. I can't imagine living in this world without the peace and joy that this knowledge gives me. By living the gospel of Jesus Christ and by keeping the commandments of God I have been able to make the most out of my life and the life of my children and grandchildren.

How I live my faith

My wife and I serve as missionaries for the LDS Family Services. We serve in the Addiction Recovery Program. This program is designed to help those who are addicted (to anything) overcome their addictions through the power of the atonement of Jesus Christ. Friends and family members who are affected by the addiction are also welcome to attend our meetings. There is great power in the atonement and by following your desires to improve your life, you will find a way to change. I have seen this happen and know this to be true.
