Hi I'm Harold

I'm single, I love my friends and family, I love the outdoors and I am Mormon AND LOVE IT!

About Me

I am currently self-employed in the real estate industry, and I have been in a sales management position for most of my life. I am single male never married and for the first time in my life seriously wanting a family. (Go figure at 50y/o, better late than never) I like electronics, cars, outdoors & youthful activities. Went to school and majored in Computer science and worked in that field for a little less than 3 years. I work from my house in order to take care of my 86 year old Mother Thank God!. That’s was my babe she just passed on June 24th 2013 R.I.P. Mom .

Why I am a Mormon

I had started in recent years on a spiritual journey. I went to a catholic church , Baptist church & then a non-denominational church that I really liked. A friend of mine said to me that I was just merely going for the feel good message and he was right I went and loved the music but I got no spiritual feeling out of it. Literally a day after my friend said that I pull into my driveway at my house and there were 2 missionaries. They spoke to me for a half an hour outside my house. They asked if they can make an appointment to come back and see me, I was not sure I did not think it was something I wanted to listen to. But as they were so persistent they finally caught me once as I was leaving. A few weeks went by and I started really paying Attention and feeling good about the message they were teaching me. The missionaries invited me to come to church and I Did. It was a little long I felt however the message was great I felt like this was a real good church. It was around May of 2010 and I decided I wanted to get baptized. Once I started sharing the news with friends and family members. I was bombarded with negative reaction. So I took it upon myself to do some research on the web. Well come to find out that Was not the right thing to do because that put a lot of reservations in my mind with all the conflicting stories I kept reading. I even called off my Baptism. One of the elders asked me to read Moroni chapter 10: 4-9 It mentions to pray and ask our heavenly father with a sincere heart for the truth. And I did over and over until 1 day it just took me by surprise and I realize that I have never felt so much better then the way that I have been feeling in this church, it truly was the holy spirit in me… something I have not ever gotten in any of the other churches I attended. I knew that this was the true church and that the book of Mormon was another testimony of the Savior Jesus Christ. I was baptized on 9/9/2010

How I live my faith

Knowing that I am a son of God helps me to reach my God given potential. I am trying my best every day to keep the commandments, so I can find and live true happiness in my life. I view God's commandments as blessings. I know that Heavenly Father will be mindful of those who seek Him.
