Hi I'm Amber Rietz.

I am a Missionary. I am a Popsicle Enthusiast. I love Tennis. I love Crazy Socks. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Northern Idaho in a wonderful family of 5 girls, and 1 boy. I love to play tennis! If I had the opportunity I would play tennis all day long. I love going to the river with my family and friends. I love to do things in the outdoors, especially hiking. I love to eat a good frozen Popsicle (especially the red, white, and blue ones). I am told that I am not funny, but I don't know what they are talking about, because I am hilarious. I love to laugh, watch movies, make and eat food, and read books. I love when my family gets together and just talks and laughs. I attended Brigham Young University-Idaho where I was on a soccer, dodge ball and bowling team! I loved being at school, and going on lots of random adventures to the caves. I am studying Business Management and Advertising. I am currently serving a mission in the California Rancho Cucamonga Mission from May 2014-November 2015.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born into a family strong in the Gospel. I have always been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I don't know where I would be without the gospel, it's everything to my family and me. It has always been a big part of my life. I know that when we feel alone Heavenly Father, will always be there with us, so we really aren't ever alone. As I study the scriptures and pray, I learn of all the ways that this Church is true. I believe that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only true church, and I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet. And that he was lead by Heavenly Father to establish the church at this time.

How I live my faith

Everyday in high school, it was a struggle knowing that I went to a school where there was a small percentage of LDS people. I let everyone know that I am a Mormon. I strive to be like Christ in all the things that I do. I believe that as we study Christ's life, we increase our desire to live like him. We learn that when we serve those around us, we are also Serving God, which is super cool to think about.
