Hi I'm Margo

I have the priviledge of raising three of the greatest kids in the world right now while getting my biology degree. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have three of the greatest kids in the world. I get to be involved in their activities from rugby, to soccer, and swimming. I am currently working on completing my degree in biology and working and getting everyone where they need to be in a somewhat timely manner. When I'm not doing these things, I like to run, cook, eat, and garden (play in the dirt). My life is busy, but it's good. I'm glad I have all the opportunities and blessing that I do in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church and lucky to be part of a wonderful family. My parents taught me about the gospel and I'm grateful for this knowledge because it has helped me in my life. I know that I have a loving Heavenly Father who watches over and cares for me. He knows our potential and if we let him have a hand in our lives, he can guide us to become and achieve great things. I am coming to know what it means to "trust in the Lord" and realize that through his guidance, we can accomplish great things and have a lot of happiness in our lives. I am eternally grateful for the fact that Jesus Christ was willing to come to the earth and be out Savior. Through his great sacrifice, there is hope that I can be forgiven of my mistakes and inadequacies in life. He is able to make up for the ways that I am lacking and make my efforts in life enough. His atonement can compensate and heal us from any sorrow or hurt we experience in our lives. Through the atonement, everything can be made right. The fact that we have a prophet on earth today shows me that we are not sent here by an uncaring being. Heavenly Father leads us through prophets today and through the words of ancient prophets found in the scriptures. We can find out for ourselves if the gospel is true by studying it out and asking to receive a knowledge if these things are true. I appreciate the fact that we aren't just asked to believe and follow blindly, but can find out the truth of all things for ourselves. The eternal nature of families as taught in the gospel is important to me - I love my family and want to be able to be with them forever. I'm thankful that there is a way that this is possible through our Heavenly Father's plan. I feel that we are responsible to help others through life. I'm thankful for the opportunities that the church gives me to provide service to others and the way that it teaches me to reach outside of my circle to help anyone I come in contact with in their life.

How I live my faith

The most important way that I live my faith is by sharing it with my children. I have such a short time to be an influence in my children's lives and want them to know of the blessings the gospel can bring. I also have the opportunity to visit with and share spiritual thoughts with other women I go to church with. This gives me a chance to feel connected with other "sisters" I worship with. One of the most fun things that I get to do is play the piano for the children during their singing time. The church has great music and the songs the kids learn teach such important things. It doesn't hurt that the kids are pretty entertaining too.
