Hi I'm Andy

I am from Southern California where I was born and raised and met my beautiful wife. We have 5 amazing children and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am happily married to my best friend Kelly. We were married in Long Beach California on August 8, 1998 and a little over a year later we were sealed in the San Diego Temple. We have five amazing kids (4 boys and 1 girl). My wife and children are my world. We live a very busy life as all of our children are very active in sports. Along with church and scouts and other activities we barely have enough time to sleep. I love my wife and am so blessed to have this incredible woman in my life. I am so honored to have her as my eternal companion and look forward to spending eternity together. As for my children, what can I say? They are the reason I get up in the morning. I love to play baseball with my kids and to teach them everything that I have learned so far throughout my life. We have a wonderful family and I love each and everyone of them so much. We love the movies. Wejust moved to Texas from California. We miss California and our friends and family. We love to go to Disneyland as this is something that we did quite often. We love the beach. We love Mexican food and are die hard USC, Yankee, Angels, Lakers, and 49er fans. I love to watch all these sporting events with my boys. But, most of all we are an eternal family and we are so thankful for all of the many blessings that our father in heaven has given us.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born under the covenant. This means that I was born into a family that was already sealed for time and all eternity. I was born and raised with the gospel in my life. I have always had a testimony of this church and have witnessed miracles throughout my life that could only have hapened by the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I love this church. The thing that I am most proud of is that I hold the priesthood. Through the Priesthood I have the authority to act in God's name. This means that I am able to bless my children after they were born. I am able to baptise them when they turn 8 and confir upon the the Holy Ghost, which is our constant companion. I have always thought of the Holy Ghost like Jiminy Crickett. You know, "Give a little whistle, give a little whistle". I love that I have this life long companion to always be by my side. There are two other thinsg that I love about this church. The first is the Temple and the second is that I am through the temple and the priesthood I am able to be sealed to my wife and my children. When this life is over I will continue to be with them, but in heaven along with my father in heaven. Wow, what an amazing thought. I cannot express to you enough the joy that thought brings to me whenever I think about it.

How I live my faith

I have the greatest calling i could ever ask for. I am a father. Moreover, I am a father to four young men. All of whom I hope and pray continue to live the gospel the way they should and learn to love the Lord the way that I do. I hope that my four sons stay close to their father in heaven and when the time comes they are prepared to serve a mission. I live my life each day close to my father in heaven and my wife. Along with my four sons we also have a beautiful daughter and I pray that she too may remain close to our father in heaven and I hope she understands that she is a choice daughter of our father in heaven. I pray that she stays close to the teachings of the gospel and learns to love him as I do as well. I hope that when the time comes she is prepared to enter the holy temple to be sealed to a young man who is worthy of her love and that they may be blessed with an eternal family. Together with my wife we live our lives as teachers and mentors to our children, loving them unconditionally. They are such a blessing to us and we strive each day to read the scriptures as a family to to start the day with family pray and to end the day as well.
