Hi I'm Bethany

I play soccer. I have two children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I studied fitness and wellness in college and love playing sports. I am now a mother of two and get exercise by chasing them around the house. I get together with my family every week. We enjoy playing games and helping each other. My husband and I are very busy, but we enjoy being together.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of the "Mormon" church. I grew up going to church each Sunday and reading the scriptures each day. When I was 14 years old, I decided that I should start reading the Book of Mormon on my own to see if it was true. Christ said, "If any man will do his will he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God or whether I speak of myself." In the Book of Mormon it promises that "Christ will manifest the truth of [the Book of Mormon] unto you." I learned from my own experience that the Book of Mormon is scripture. I learned that it was brought forth by a prophet of God, Joseph Smith. I have read the Book of Mormon many times now and I know that it is the word of God. It testifies of that Christ is the Savior of the world. I know that is true. Now, as an adult, I see so many blessings from being a member of the Mormon church. I see that following the teachings of the living prophets has helped my family be strong and happy.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is something I try to do every day. My family reads the scriptures each day and prays morning, night, and over meals. I pray when I have special needs. I find answers to questions by searching the scriptures. We make visits to other families in our church. We share messages, give service, or pray together. This helps us grow closer together as a members and friends. My husband and I both have assignments to serve in church. I am in charge of the women in our church. I am called to serve them, teach them, and bring them to Christ. I try to show them love and have Charity, the pure love of Christ.
