Hi I'm Todd

I'm an average everyday guy. I like building my businesses. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of seven children. I enjoy fly fishing and fishing in general. I own a creative services company that focuses on marketing and training development and have won more than 30 international awards for our work. I also own a sales tool company where we produce sales tools (Brochures, DVDs, CDs, etc.) for more than 8000 independent distributors. While I enjoy building my small businesses I really enjoy watching my children as they grow and learn about how life works and how our Heavenly Father's plan is at work in their lives.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I was eight years old having been raised in the church by my parents. I often hear in meetings someone ask who is a convert to the church? I often feel like I need to raise my hand when I hear that question because I think that anyone who comes to know the truth of the gospel becomes a convert. I remember as a child feeling that going to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was the right thing to do but it wasn't until I put the Book of Mormon to the test in my late teens that I truly became converted to the church. I was in a position where I was teaching others about the gospel and felt I needed to know for a fact that what I was teaching was true. I knelt by my bed in a humble apartment in Florida after reading in the Book of Mormon in Moroni 10:3-5 and asked my Heavenly Father to let me know if the Book of Mormon was true and he did in such a way as to fill my soul with peace and a feeling like I had never had before. I had been given the knowledge through the Spirit of God that the Book of Mormon was true and that what I was apart of was the true church of God here on earth. That a living prophet is on the earth to lead and guide us, that Christ's church had been restored to the earth through Joseph Smith and that he saw God the Father and His son Jesus Christ. I became converted to the church at that time and have been striving to be more like my Savior since that time. I am grateful for that experience and for the gospel being in my life.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith in everything that I do. I used to work in an office where they talked a lot about how everyone acts differently at work than they do in their personal lives. I have a hard time understanding why that should be the case. I am trying to live in such a way that I can be the same person in all places. I currently serve as the leader of our ward or congregation. I have the opportunity to work with all of the great men and women in our ward and see the wonderful works they do for each other and how they serve. It builds my testimony everyday. I love working with the youth and enjoying the fun and loving people they are. They have so much energy and love for life. I want to see each of them reach the potential that our Heavenyly Father sees in them.
