Hi I'm Sandy

I'm a 5th generation descendant of pioneers led by Brigham Young to the Salt Lake Valley, USA. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I spent the first 10 years of my life in Wyoming, the next 10 years in Illinois, and after attending Brigham Young University in Utah, married, really started traveling and became mother to 5 wonderful children. I have lived in several different states and 3 foreign countries (Spain, England, and Germany). I currently am single, have 3 grandchildren, and teach piano for a living.

Why I am a Mormon

I feel fortunate and blessed to have been born into an active LDS family. Nevertheless, it was always my responsibility to learn the precepts of the gospel and to ultimately "choose" to gain my own testimony and to "choose" to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I was raised in a small congregation of Mormons and so we all pitched in to help each other and to keep our group vital. I learned to do lots of things in our church while growing up, so as a young married mother living in many different locations and cultures, I just continued with this type of education. I learned not to be fearful of new opportunities, but to roll up my sleeves, plunge in to help when asked, and to rely on my Heavenly Father for guidance. He has never let me down. I continue to this day to learn and grow in my faith and to discover ways that I might be of help to others.
