Hi I'm Julie

I love spending time outdoors and indoors. I come from a family of 10 and I married an only child. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love learning. I believe in exercise, and smiling is my most favorite hobby. I come from a family of 10, I'm the third child of eight. I have learned to work hard and work for what we need, then want. I enjoy yard work along with being in the outdoors. Hiking and camping, swimming, running, and swinging are awesome. I married a new member of the church, we met at his baptism. He is an only child and enjoys computer gaming. I love being with friends and family, talking and eating or just sitting round. I love life and I take my religion to heart.

Why I am a Mormon

I was taught since the time I can remember that I have come from a Father in Heaven and that I was somebody. Not just anybody, but a daughter of a loving King from on high and that I have potential to be like Him. I have prayed, a lot, and I know without doubt that God cares for me and all the people on this earth and knows them each by name (we are His). He answers every prayer I have and he likes hearing from me, and misses me when I'm absent in my communication to Him. God loves us enough He sent His son, our brother Jesus Christ, and He atoned for our pains, sorrows and sins. He also experienced the joys and peaceable things we go through. He understands how I feel, always. Through the Gospel I have learned how to repent when I mess up or go astray, and i do mess up. I have also gone astray. When I repent, and when I talk with my Heavenly Father and I follow His ways, I'm happy. I'm me. Life is fun and I smile the best when I'm "right" with God. The Whole truth is in the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The truth brings me continuous, optimum Joy and strength. That is why I am a Mormon. It is Right to be.

How I live my faith

I like to Smile and give hugs. Reaching out to others by loving service is how I would like people to see me living my faith. In the church we take care of each other. I meet with another sister a couple times a month, our conversation always involves two other girls that are members of the church, we are concerned for their struggles. One is in an abusive home and the other in a single parent home and both trying to get through school, we enjoy bringing them treats and uplifting notes that brighten their day. I love claiming all the girls in our ward as mine. I have had many opportunities to teach the sisters and lead them in activities. I'm amazed at the strength these sisters have when we get together. Few of us are professional teachers and yet in our class settings the teacher often ends up the student learning the most, we learn from each other. The talents we each bring to the group is individual yet, it inspires, uplifts and teaches us each abilities we can all enjoy and use in this crazy life. We need each other.
